A petrol tanker explosion that occurred on Abuja-Keffi Expressway, has reportedly claimed several lives, with several other persons injured.

The incident which occurred at about 9p.m on Saturday night, also destroyed property, amidst panic among residents of the area.

It was gathered that the ill-fated petrol tanker, crashed into 3 other vehicles on the road, spill its content and burst into flames.

Fire fighters make frantic effort to put out the blaze while officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), battle to control traffic.
