Governor Sani Mohammed Bello of Niger State kept vigil in Government office, Minna, the State Capital, ostensibly to receive the 27 students and 15 workers of Government Science College, Kagara in the State.

The students and some workers in the school, were whisked away by gunmen on Wednesday, fuelling outcry by Nigerians and the international Community.
An Official of the State Government, said on Sunday that the students have been released.
But the State governor, Abubakar Sani Bello who addressed parents of the abductees at about 11: 30p.m on Sunday, said, the kidnapped victims are yet to be freed, amidst murmuring.
