A former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha is in police nest, amid protest by his kinsmen.

He was picked up in Owerri, the State Capital by some police operatives on Sunday after unsealing seized Spring Palm Estate linked to his wife, Nkechi Okorochas.

Okorocha close aides, Ijeoma Igboanusi, the deputy Chief of Staff (Domestics) and Lasbrey Okafor-Anyanwu, were also arrested while Okafor-Anyanwu was the Commissioner for Transportation in Okorocha’s Government.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator fighting a battle of his political career with the incumbent Governor of the State, Mr. Hope Uzodinma who is also a member of the same party.
