The officials were allegedly overrun and chased away by the mob who prevented them from towing an Audi 80 car, parked beside a mini bus that caught fire on First East Circular road in Oredo Local Government Area.

Investigation found that the owner of the dark blue car, was parked beside the road by the driver to assist another mini bus driver whose identity is yet to be ascertained, to put out the fire.

The driver of the mini bus, engaged a welder simply identified as Mr. Okaligban by the road side to amend the floor of his vehicle when the incident occurred.
