Police operatives have recovered Eight bodies from the scene of a fatal road crash around Adekunle Ajasin University in Ondo State.

The accident occurred at about 6.p.m on Saturday in Akungba-Akoko, headquarters of Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State

According to Tribune, the truck was descending the Okerigbo hill near Adekunle Ajasin University when it lost control as a result of faulty brake, killing the victims.

But, the Spokesman of the Nigeria police, Ondo State Command, Mr. Tee Leo Ikoro, who confirmed the incident, said eight bodies had been recovered from the scene of incident.

Our Correspondent reports that the accident has thrown residents of the area into panic.

Emergency response by Officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and the police had started while the gridlock has began to ease.
