Immigration lunches investigation into fire outbreak at its headquarters

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has reported a fire incident at its national headquarters in the Federal Capital territory (FCT) Abuja.

The Sunday morning disaster, affected some of its offices at the complex, according to the service announcement on tweeter,

It said investigation has been launched into the fire incident which has been out by fire fighters.

NIS said, “A fire incident occurred in our Service Headquarters this Morning. It affected some of our offices.

“The fire has been put out by our Federal Fire Station&support from other agencies around the Airport.

“The cause of the fire is being investigated. We assure the public that the incident will not in any way affect the discharge of our services”.
