2023: Wike asks APC to begin preparation of hand over note

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has predicted that Peoples Democratic party (PDP) will be defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023 presidential election.

He urged the ruling party to begin the preparation of its handing over note ahead of 2023 and emulate former President, Mr. Goodluck Jonathan who conceded defeat to his main challenger and Candidate of APC in the 2015 presidential election, Muhammadu Buhari when it became obvious that he has lost the election.

Wike said this during the commissioning of the 16.06 kilometers dual carriage Saakpenwa-Bori Highway by Governor of Enugu State, Mr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Wednesday in Bori, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.

According to governor Wike, “I am not like the Federal Government. They promised you they will do Ogoni clean-up. Has it been cleaned? I promised you road, have I done it? So, you can see the difference between our party and their own party. The difference is clear.

“When election comes in 2023, they will start another clean-up. You people don’t even ask question. Why is it a year to election that Ogoni clean-up will always commence? Now, that there is no election, are they doing clean-up now? Watch from next year, they will start clean-up.
