A Benin-based human rights activist, Mr. Efe Bevy Kpohraror, has been attacked by suspected hoodlums.

The incident occurred on Monday evening in Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State while he was behind the wheel.
The activist alleged was returning to his house after the close of work on the fateful day, when suspected hoodlums who disguised as #End SARS protesters waylaid and attacked him.

In a swift of rage, the hoodlums destroyed the wing mirrors before smashing the front and back windscreen of his Blue Toyota Corolla car marked: EDO: Ben 33 BD.
He alleged that his attackers who blocked Urora junction, had lashed out at him.
According to him, “There was no argument, I close to my house at urora junction, when I saw them carrying different weapons before I reverse they hit my back windscreen and front then my bonnet”.
Recall that Edo State government on Monday declared a curfew on following violent protests that led to reported cases of arson, vandalism of some public and private facilities and jail break by hoodlums.
