Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku has condoled with the Awolowo and Oyediran families over the loss of Chairman of Rev. (Mrs.) Tola Oyediran whose death was reported on Friday.

Atiku, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections, conveyed his condolences via a tweet on Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Oyediran, the eldest child of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo has died at the age of 79.
She was also the Chairman Board of Directors of African Newspapers of Nigeria (ANN) publishers of Tribune titles.
He wrote: “On behalf of my family, I condole with the Awolowo and Oyediran families over the loss of Chairman of @nigeriantribune, Rev. (Mrs) Tola Oyediran. I pray the Almighty shall comfort the families at this moment and always. May her soul rest in peace”.
