Murray-Bruce joins Atiku’s campaign against police brutally

A non-serving Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce on Sunday, joined former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku campaign against the ram spell of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the Nigeria police against Nigerian masses who strive every day for a better life.

Atiku who was the Candidate of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in 2019 general elections, had on Saturday, described the police units as oppressors and demanded for an overhaul of police operations in order to serve Citizens better.

According to Murray-Bruce, “Every citizen owns the right to life, liberty and happiness—but in Nigeria, the very body tasked with ensuring the protection of life and property is the body denying these rights to our citizens. Enough is Enough. The time to end SARS brutality is now!”, he tweeted.

Just last week Thursday, armed police personnel, brutalized, arrested and detained some unarmed Civilians who staged a peaceful protest in some parts of Nigeria including Lagos State during her 60th Independence anniversary.
