Former governor of Jigawa State, Mr. Sule Lamido is in a closed-door meeting with Ibrahim Babangida.
Bauchi State governor. Sen. Bala Mohammed who published the photograph of the meeting at the reduce of Babangida in Minna, Nier State Capital via his tweeter handle on Saturday.
Mohammed who accompanied the politician to the venue, tweet reads: “In a closed-door meeting with former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and former governor of Jigawa State, H.E Sule Lamido. https://t.co/QrT5SpWb9I”.
Details of the meeting which may not be unconnected with his Presidential ambition in 2023, was not disclosed in the Governor Mohammed tweet as at the time of filing this report.
Lamido was Nigeria foreign Affairs minister between 1999 to 2003.
He also contested the 2019 presidential elections on the platform of Peoples Democratic party (PDP), but, he lost his bid to secure nomination to Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, former Vice president of Nigeria.
