A fuel tanker explosion in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital left scores of unidentified persons dead and injured others on Wednesday morning.
The tragedy occurred after the petrol tanker rammed other vehicles at Felele in Lokoja and exploded as other incoming vehicles ripping through the blaze at about 8.30 according to witnesses.
Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and firefighters have been reported to have arrive the scene to respond to the emergency.
