The Progressives Congress Candidate in Saturday governorship election in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has faulted the outcome of the poll conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ize-Iyamu, disclosed this after the declaration of the incumbent Governor of the State as the winner of the election by INEC on Sunday.
The APC Candidate stated that he is studying the results of the election with other party members and will announce the next line of action soon.
He however commended members of his party for enduring many evils including being prevented from exercising their franchise, for their support and determination during the election process.
Recall that Prof. Agofure Rukeh of Federal University of Petroleum Technology, Efurun, Delta State, returned Obaseki re-elected after he polled 307,955 valid votes ro defeat his closest rival, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who secured 223,619 votes in the election.
“I hereby thank and appreciate my teeming supporters, who have had to endure many evils including being prevented from exercising their franchise, for their support and determination during the election process.
“I assure you all that I am studying the results along with other party members and will announce the next line of action soon. God bless you all”, he said.
