The Benin monarch, Oba Ewuare II has declared a post election feast for political gladiators in the State.

The monarch said this when he played host to the former Head of State and Chairman of National peace Committee, General Abdulsalami Abubaka (Rted).

Oba Ewuare II however did not give details about the venue and time for the bipartisan meeting, which he said would help to strengthen and foster the bond of unity.

“The outcome of Edo election is “No Victor, No vanquish”, he said.

The former Head of States, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rted), told the monarch that he was in the state to assist in ensuring absolute peace before, during and after the election.

Abubakar described peace as a prerequisite for any free, fair and credible election.
