A pressure group, Concerned Elite Citizens of United Ogbe has commended the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) for September 19, 2020 Governorship election in Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki for abolishing touting and other nefarious activities including the Community Development Association (CDA) in the State.

Spokesman of the group, Mr. Peter Obobaifo who disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday in Benin City, pledged unalloyed support for Obaseki re-election bid, citing infrastructural development across the State.

According to Obobaifo, we particularly pleased with the governor for ridding the state of touts and the CDA nefarious activities.

He revealed that Benin Ogbe indigenes based in Benin were proud of the governor’s monumental achievements in Ogbe quarter and its environs are visible.

“The network of roads in Ogbe which have been tarred, Samuel Ogbemudia stadium which has been renovated to international and Olympic standard and Odigie-Oyegun staff training centre among others are visible projects executed to our satisfaction.

“It is therefore unfair when some persons out of sheer mischief claim that the governor has not done anything or that nothing is on ground.

“The governor provided first class buildings and equipment at the Benin Institute of technology formally called Benin Technical College.
