President Muhammadu Buhari is meeting with the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the September 19, 2020 Governorship election in Edo State Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu ahead of the his formal declaration.

Chairman of APC Caretaker Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, led Ize-Iyamu to the meeting.

Others on the entourage of the party Candidate are Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and Governor of Kebbi State Atiku Bagudu and his Kano counterpart, Abdulahi Ganduje.

The meeting comes barely two months after Ize-Iyamu emerged Candidate of the main opposition party in Edo State.

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu took to his tweeter page after the meeting with the President and write: Today at the Villa, I received the flag of our great party, the APC, from President Muhammadu Buhari as the party’s candidate in the Edo Governorship election.‬

“‪Our party is united, strong, and ready for victory at the polls! #EdoMustMoveForward #EdoForAPC #POIGANI “, he said in excitement.
