A Nigerian Professor, Charles Egbu has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of of Leeds Trinity University in the United Kingdom.

His appointment was unveiled in the early hours of today, Wednesday, 15th July, 2020, according to the University official website.
Egbu who hails from Abatete, Idemili North LGA Anambra State of Nigeria, has become the first Black VC to have been so appointed by the prestigious institution.
The website also revealed that Professor Egbu who was once a student and later a lecturer in Leads University, will assume his new role on 1st November, 2020.
He will take over from Professor Margaret A. House who will step down after seven years as Vice-Chancellor.
