Tension seems to be brewing, following the notice by the court of appeal, Abuja to deliver judgement in the appeal challenging his suspension by the Edo State chapter of the party.

A three man panel of the appellate court led by Justice Eunice Onyemenam resolved to deliver judgement after taking argument from parties involved in the matter.

The appellant, Oshiomhole and APC are challenging an order of a Federal Capital territory High court  which restrained the appellant (Oshiomhole) from parading himself as the chairman of the party.

The appellant is also challenging the jurisdiction of the High court on the ground that the suspension of Oshiomhole was carried out in Edo State and not in the FCT.

The lead Counsel for the appellant, Damian Dodo and Ahmed Raji are praying the appeal court to void and set aside the decision of the lower court as it relates to the suspension.

TheNewspad reports that security has being beefed up around the premises of the court.

The Edo State factional Chairman of APC, Anselm Ojezua and the incumbent Governor of the State are among the defendants in the suit.
