Recruitment: INEC issues alert on jobs scam

The Independent National Electoral. commission (INEC), has described the purported employment and recruitment linked to the Commission as a scam in circulation.

The Commission which gave the notice through a tweet on Saturday night, urged members of the public to disregard the rumours giving out appointment/employment letters.

It “warned that the Commission suspended its recruitment programme in the wake of Covid-19” and advised the general public to report the suspected scammers to security agencies.

The tweet reads: “The attention of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been drawn to the purported letters of employment/appointment allegedly emanating from the Commission .

“Members of the public are hereby advised and warned that the Commission suspended its recruitment programme in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic”, INEC said.
