Fire engulf has been reported at Polaris bank in Benin.

The fire which occurred on Thursday occurred as a result of power surge, according to sources.

A Benin based journalist, simply identified Mr Kadiri, confirmed the incident on Thursday afternoon.

Also a Facebook user published, “Polaris bank, Ugbowo branch Benin City on fire.

“Only God can save now
Fire extinguisher/fire service/fire brigade refusing to pick calls”, he wrote.

TheNewspad reports that the development has hwightened fear among commuters and Pedestrians plying Ugbowo-Lagos express road.

Fire fighters are yet to arrive the scene as at the time of filing this report.
