A Director in Lift Above Poverty Organization, Elder Moses Uwadiae Ehigiamusoe, is dead.
Ehigiamusoe, was the younger brother of the founder of the Organization, Mr Godwin Ehigiamusoe who recently yielded his position as the Chief Executive Officer of LAPO few months ago to Mrs Cynthia Ikponmwosa.
The Public Relations Officer of LAPO, Edo State, Mr James Wisdom Abhulimen announced his death via his Facebook page on Friday night, however did not state the cause of his death.
Recalling his relationship with LAPO Staff and himself in the past 18 years, Abhulimen, described the former Director, expressed grief about Ehigiamusoe’s demise, which occurred barely 24 hours he had a conversion with him over the phone.
In a brief tribute titled, “Moses Ehigiamusoe lives on”, by the Public Relation Officer of the Organization, describe his departed colleague as “a man of vision and rectitude, kindhearted, godly, humble to a fault, amiable, gentle, highly principled and committed man to the growth and development of LAPO”.
He prayed God to give his families and LAPO Staff the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“He rose to the top echelon of his career in LAPO as a director died in active service. He was virtually a friend to everybody and had an advice to give for every situation. He was a mentor and leader par excellence.
“Above all, he had a reverential love for God.
“We pray that the Good Lord will grant him a merciful judgement and the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ”, Abhulimen wrote.
Godwin Ehigiamusoe is a Counsellor in Christ’s Chosen Church of God while his brother is a Deacon in the church.
Our Correspondent reports that the burial arrangements of Elder Moses Uwadiae Ehigiamusoe was attached to LAPO in Edo State headquarters on Dawson road in Benin City.
