The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun has condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his Chief of Staff, Mr Abba Kyari who lost his battle to Coronavirus.
In a condolence letter addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari, Odigie-Oyegun, said that “as people of faith, we cannot question the will of God”.
Recall that Abba Kyari death was announced by the federal Government in the early hours Saturday morning and he was subsequently buried at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja, few hours later.
Oyegun, first Civilian Governor of Edo State who described his interactions with Kyari when he (Odigie-Oyegun) was the national Chairman of the APC as pleasant and productive experiences, said that for so many years, Kyari “stood loyally by you labouring to help you execute your mandate, from his position as Chief of Staff”.
The statement in part reads: “His death came as a shock to me as I was sure he was receiving the best medical care available. However, as a people of faith, we cannot question the will of God.
“I can imagine how you (President Muhammadu Buhari) must be feeling, but God will console you, his family, and the people of Borno State and fill the obvious void his presence has created”, Odigie-Oyegun said.
