The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole on Tuesday donated food, undisclosed cash sum and relief materials to the
International Christian Centre, housing Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Camp in Ohogua Community in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State.

Mr Lawrence Okah, Edo State factional Secretary of APC, Mr Lawrence Okah who represented Oshiomhole, presented 200 bags of 50kg bags of rice to the Camp, housing over 3000 IDPs on behalf of the National Working Committee of the party.
Some residents of Ohogua Community who were privy to the donation, appealed to Oshiomhole to use his platforms to reach out to other privileged Edo sons and daughters at home and diaspora to donate towards the cause of vulnerable people including migrant returnees and Orphans living in the State.
While commending Oshiomhole, former governor of the State for marching donations with people in need during the period of lockdown to prevent the further spread of Coronavirus, the Coordinator of the Camp, Pastor Solomon Folorunsho, recalled the sterling qualities of Oshiomhole and appealed to him to use his platform to call for donations to those in need.
Folorunsho, thanked the National Chairman and the All Progressives Congress for the kind gesture, he made it clear that the National Chairman have continued to assist, and relief them even while he was Governor of the state, he also
He said Oshiomhole built a school for them during his tenure as Governor of the State and was always visiting them with food items.
“The school he built for us is yielding very good results, the school have produced countless graduates now, some are still in the university, others are still writing jamb to gain admission, we really appreciate the National Chairman, he has been nothing but a blessing to the IDP Camp”, Folorunsho said.
