The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 16 new cases of Coronavirus across the Country, with Delta State recorded the first outbreak of the pandemic.

The agency who announced this in a tweet on Tuesday night said Lagos has 10 cases, 2 in the FCT, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Delta and 1 in Katsina.

As at 09:30 pm 7th April, there are 254 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria.

44 patients have been discharged with six deaths.
