Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Friday, met with the dethroned Emir of Kano, Mohammad Sanusi, in Awe, Nasarawa State.

The state has witnessed an increased number of security check points in the last few days especially the way leading to Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

TheNewspad reports that the new residence of the deposed traditional ruler where renovation work is also ongoing.

Kaduna State governor appointed Sanusi into the board of the state Investment Promotion Agency, KADIPA, barely 48 hours after he was deposed by Kano State government led by Abdullahi Ganduje.

Sanusi also appointed the dethroned Emir as the chancellor of Kaduna state University.
