A security guard (name withheld) was caught napping while the minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire was addressing Nigerians on the need for Elder Friendly Hospital Initiative (ELDFRHI) at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).

The worker threw caution to the wind on Monday at the Nigerian doctors’ house on Monday in Benin City.

The unarmed guard was spotted taking a nap after a fatigue beside the perimeter fence surrounding the venue for the event where guests scrambled for limited space at car park.

Curious guests described the act ‘unacceptable behaviour’ as an unending catalogue of embarrassment which concerned authorities said should be cured.
