The deposed Kano Emir Mohammad Sanusi II disclosed plans to file a fundamental rights suit, challenging his dethronement and banishment from by the State government in court.
His lawyer, Abubakar Mahmoud (SAN), said this in a briefing on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said the restriction of the Emir’s movement and his dethronement were unlawful and gross violation of his human rights.
