Ararume: Our people have suffered enough — APGA collapses structure for gov Uzodinma

The leadership of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Imo State Chapter, has collapsed its structure in honour of the State governor, Mr Hope Ozodinma and the All Progressives Congress.

Mr Ifeanyi Ararume, the State Chairman of APGA made this at the end of a meeting by party leaders on Saturday in Owerri, the Imo State Capital.

Araraume noted that the people of the state have suffered enough in opposition party hence APGA and its supporters decided to help the current administration in its quest for good governance.

He clarified that decision to collapse the party structure was taken before the Supreme court verdict which returned Mr Hope Uzodinma as the validly elected governor of the State last Week.

The former governor Candidate explained that “the move was even made before the Supreme court verdict which made Mr Hope Uzodinma governor of Imo State.

“We felt that there was need come together. We have agreed for us to work together as leaders. Our people have suffered a lot.

“We need to allow the government succeed because we need good governance in Imo State. We need to make our contributions.

“The whole idea to aspire to be governor, is to offer selfless service to our people. Someone has emerged through the verdict of the Supreme court, that is the highest court of the land.

“Left for us, we need to sensitise our people from the grassroots to the State levels to support him and that is the essence of these meeting”, he said.
