Two abducted customs officers have regained their freedom from captivity in Katsina State.
TheNewspad can report that an Inspector and a Customs Assistant, were kidnapped on Tuesday while on official duty along Jibya Basari Road in the State.

He added that the sustained heat from the security agents led by the Army in reconnaissance mode, made the abductors uncomfortable as they struggled to flee with their victims.
According to him “ The abductors never communicated with us and no ransom was paid to secure the release of the kidnapped officers.
“The Comptroller General of Customs appreciates the robust inter agency collaboration between our service and sister agencies in various operations and particularly in the ongoing Border Drill, Exercise Swift Response.
“This recent kidnap incident or previous operational hazards will not deter us from carrying out our assigned duties to Nation”, Attah said.
He however did not provide details about their experience of the captives.
