The Delta State police Command has taken into its custody a robbery gang that have been terrorizing Uzere Community in Isoko South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The gang which operated  with the code name ‘Freedom Fighters according to a security source said by hoodlums were arrested by soldiers on guard at the residence of a former Chief of defence staff in the Community.

The source who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the suspects were handed over to Oleh Divisional Police Station, Isoko South L.G.A for investigation and prosecution at the State Criminal Investigation Department, (CID), in Asaba,Delta Capital.

Spokesman for the Nigeria police, Delta State Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said she was yet to be briefed on the arrest.
