The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has appointed Mr Henry Benamaisia as the new Sector Commander in Edo State.

Benamaisia who had since resumed duty replaced, Mr Anthony Oko, who had been deployed to Plateau State as the  new sector Commander.

The new sector Commander hails from Bayelsa State, and holds a Bachelor Degree  of Science from the University of Port-Harcourt.

A press statement, signed by Sector Public Education Officer, Assistant Route Commander, Omozie R. Inegbenebor and made available to newsmen in Benin, said
Benamaisia hails from Bayelsa state, and holds a Bachelor Degree  of Science from the University of Port-Harcourt and was the head of policy in the Department of policy, research and statistics at the  headquarters in Abuja before his new appointment.

The statement stressed that the new sector Commander in Edo State, target was to ensure a safe motoring environment, robust public education on safety, ensure reduction in road traffic crashes to the barest minimum in the State.
