Bill to amend Teachers registration Council’s Act passes first reading

A bill to amend the Act establishing the teachers Registration Council’s Act, has passed first reading at the House of Representatives.

HON. JUDE ISE-IDEHEN

The bill which will help to enhance the quality education in Nigeria, was sponsored by the member representing Egor and Ikpoba-Okha federal Constituency, Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen.

In addition, the bill which has been slated for second reading at a later day by the House of Representative Speaker Femi. Gbajabiamila, will help to reduce unregistered and unqualified teachers in the educational system with a penalty attached to it.
