Nigerians have taken to social in celebration of freedom of the Convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore and his co-accused, Olawale Bakare from the Department of State Service (DSS) custody.
The duo were finally released barely hours, an Abuja Federal High Court, on Thursday order for his release within 24 hours.
The Sahara Reporters, a media outlet owned by Sowore, said this on Thursday.
Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu also ordered the DSS to pay the sum of N100,000 to Sowore, for refusing to release him on bail despite two court orders to that effect.
Sowore and Bakare spent 126 days in custody.
