Egbira people living in Nasarawa State have sought divine intervention over the re-election of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.

Ahead of the governorship poll billed for November 16th, 2019, leaders of the prayer team, Mr Odeyani Anegbira of Nasarawa State Yanusa Aliba said the prayer became necessary put Kogi Central on political relevance, haven been neglected for a long time.
He appealed to other zones to support the governor in the spirit of fairness and equity.
Also speaking, Coordinator of the programme Hassan Chatta, said the Egbira people in Nasarawa state have endorsed governor Bello for a second term in office due to his records of achievements.
He noted that the governor has achieved a lot in his first tenure, calling on the electorates to give him another chance to serve them.
“Those who do not like anybody from the Kogi Central to be governor are using every means to de-market Yahaya Bello, telling all sorts of lies and propaganda against him just to assassinate his character. He said.
Chatta however advised them to desist from politics of bitterness and character assassination for the state to develop.
On her part, the women leader of Egbira people in Nasarawa State Mrs, Hafsat Ibrahim, gave reasons why the incumbent governor deserve to be re-elected.
