The Benin Traditional Council, (BTC) on Friday named Mr Victor Ogiemwanre as the acting Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II.

In a Press release which was signed by the Secretary to BTC, Frank Irhabor, said, Ogiemwanre replaced Mr Desmond Agbama who has completed a 2-year tour of duty in the Palace and therefore has returned to Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS).

Part of the Press release marked BTC. A6/VOL. VI/TI/170, said: “Mr. Victor Ogiemwanre is to act as CPS to the Oba of Benin, pending the appointment of of a substantive CPS”.
