The Presidency has reacted to the report by the embattled Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita to proceed on retirement.

EMBATTLED HEAD OF SERVICE, WINIFRED OYO-ITA

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Monday hinted that said it was not in possession of any letter from the Mrs Oyo-Ita who is facing N3bn corruption charges preferred against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Shehu said, “We have no such letter here, in the event that such a letter exists. This is our position,” he wrote in a text message to the Punch.

Oyo-Ita is currently in the eye of the storm, following alleged bribery, duty tour allowance falsification and fraud case.
