A middle-aged man suspected to be on a suicide mission on Thursday plunged into Gbodofon River in Osogbo, Osun State.

A search team were alerted by Passersby who alerted residents of the area in to rescue the victim as at the time of filing this report.

Also, men of the State Fire Service rushed to get scene after they were alerted.

The incident attracted motorists and man commercial motorcyclists known as Okada riders who converged on the bank of the river to watch the rescue mission.

A witness, Taiye Olaore who watched the scene from the rear, feared that it the move by the unidentified Nigeria might be a case of suicide.
