Though sources gave varying casualty figures, it was however gathered that no fewer than 10 people were killed and more than 20 others injured.

A significant number of women and animals were kidnapped and rustled while the injured are currently receiving treatment at the Kankaraw General hospital while the dead were yesterday buried.

He spoke through the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Minority Leader, Ndudi Elumelu, at Onwuaso’s inauguration thanksgiving service at Saint Faith Cathedral, Awka, Anambra State.
