A grieving housewife could not hold back her tears when her husband openly professed his love their maid in Lagos High court last Friday.

The incident threw the jury who was approached with a petition to dissolve 27-year-old marriage, into uncontrollable burden and shouts.

The middle-aged man (respondent) who was the respondent wasn’t represented by a Counsel, did not oppose his wife, request to the court to divorce the union which is blessed with three Children “for lack of happiness”.

He also did not contest the petitioner’s demands for custody of the three Children and maintenance fee monthly which he also conceded to cheerfully.

The thunderbolt that unsettled everyone at the room happened when humble and pitiable respondent made his solitary request for custody of the 22 years busty housemaid.

For certainty and unambiguity, he pointed and aimed at her in court.

The the amazement of everyone, the maid stood up for recognition and The court room became quiet like a graveyard for a moment.

Upset by the development, the petitioner went wild in protest, ignored her Counsel and shouted no! no! no!.

When calm returned, the judge asked the respondent why he wanted custody of the beautiful busty housemaid.

The respondent replied that he conceded all demands of the petitioner to make her happy.

Now he’s requesting for only one thing to make him happy, yet petitioner has gone wild.

“My lord can see for yourself what I has been going through for the past 27 years of the marriage!

“The petitioner wants only her happiness not his. That has been my silent burden.

The petitioner became angry at the maid and the respondent which drew laughter from the audience.

The court was forced into recess to talk to the parties in chamber.
