Kano State governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has ordered a probe panel to investigate the the sum N6.8m reportedly ‘swallowed by a Gorilla’ at Kano Zoological Gardens.

The State Anti-Corruption Commission is to verify the story and look into the immediate and remote cause of the allegation.

The Commission has a mandate to unearth everything surrounding the incident.

The government is did not disclose if any Staff of the Zoo has been invited for interrogation.
